lore He came from a great and ancient lineage of cupids, who are born when a couple is separated by death. They are all children of Eros, the God of love; Eros is omnipresent and exists in all universes/dimensions. Cupids can legally exist in all dimensions, as their job is to spread love and disgust. Airin is no exception: he spent much years of his life dedicating himself to spreading love and traveling between dimensions.Airin arrived in Twisted Wonderland as he would in any other dimension; disguised as an ordinary freshman, as an ordinary student. But, due to some error in the cupid system, his soul was not recognized by the great mirror and he was also unable to travel from one dimension to another. Airin will have to stay trapped in this dimension until his father, Eros, fixes the problem; while spreading the love for Night Raven College.

And even when he talks to others, he prefers to leave personal details aside and let the other person take control of the conversation; Airin has a hard time getting close to people deeply, since he never stayed in one dimension long enough. At some point, he would have to leave the friends he had made, so, he prefers to try not to get too attached to someone.
Objects is a different story, he is very attached to all the gifts that his friends from past dimensions have given him: ranging from a silly drawing to pieces of clothing. He always takes them with him on his travels.
appearance Airin has pinkish-red hair, with lighter streaks throughout; the length is short, with two longer strands. Despite this, in some event designs she may have longer hair for design purposes.
His eyes are large and slightly droopy, pinkish brown in color. His pupils are heart-shaped when he is focused.
He is 1,64 meters tall, but appears taller because of the clogs he often wears. His silhouette is androgynous, his gender undefined. He has some bird-like parts, but is still not considered a beastman because his species is specifically "cupid". (He has wings, and in place of his ear, there are feathers around, its hidden by his hair. In addition to having some feathers on the body, which are hidden by clothing. )

lore Airin and Idia ended up meeting each other and getting closer because of their mutual love for Otome games/Dating sims and, surprisingly, they became friends quickly.
Every day, the two had more and more topics to talk about: they liked similar mangas, animes, games and idol groups. In addition, whenever they had the opportunity, they set aside a weekend just to finish a Dating sim, completing the route of all the flirts in the game (even though the two fight a lot over who will be the first. Ortho always breaks the tie).The closer they got, the more they both felt something different for each other. The problem? Neither of them were good at it. And, well, Airin is a cupid, he literally feels love in the air; as soon as he realized that Idia felt something more for him and that it was reciprocated, he decided to run away. He did a irl ghosting on Idia, basically.
Idia thought he had lost one of the only real friends he had ever made, just for being weird. While Airin was seething with longing, trying his best to avoid Idia at all costs... Two idiots...This didn't last much longer than a few months, with a lot of pushing from Ortho (and, covertly, Leona; Airins friend) They finally started talking again, with Airin apologizing for disappearing out of nowhere. The intimacy didn't return quickly, but when it did, they allowed themselves to act more affectionately towards each other (sometimes, having secret scenes like... Ahem, kisses! what a scandal...) . But that was without them dating yet, they didn't have the courage to call themselves boyfriends yet.They only start dating for real after book 6, where they really talk about everything (both about the future and about their feelings). With all the issues clarified, they finally accept that they are truly in love.funfacts/trivia
*Idia takes care of Airins wings, because when he found out that Airin had them, he ended up becoming a little obsessed with it. Which resulted in Idia researching for days how to treat and comb wing feathers(IT WORKED);
*They fight a lot about "husbandos" and "boyfriends" in dating sims. Yes, despite liking the genre, the two have drastically different tastes in favorites. Whenever they fight, it's up to Ortho to break the tie with an opinion that neither of them had thought of. (although, they both agree that Silver Vanrouge is the most dateable UR+ character of all);

rins owner: @omiomi_kokilore They met some time after Rin arrived at Twisted Wonderland, as they both live in Ramshakle (something between book2-book3); Airin was busy with other things and was away from the NRC. So it was a surprise when he came back and there were other people living in the dormitory... Crowley might have heard a lot if he hadn't run away.
Despite this, Airin welcomed Rin kindly, and, like a good roommate, said that she could ask him for anything and he would help (and well, he asked what happened, because... when he arrived, Floyd and Jade were leaving there, for some reason ??? whaaat).Well, anyway, Airin and Rin ended up getting closer because of the similar situation they were in; and, also, they realized that they had similar tastes. Some sleepovers happen and many nights of gaming... (Airin knows who Hatsune Miku is, who is familiar to him somehow, how strange...)
Airin realizes that she is liking Rin too much, and despairs: she never felt that Rin could feel the same, and he doesn't want to ruin the warm friendship he has made with her. So, Airin did what she does best: disappeared.... Well, as much as she could, actually. Living in the same place as the person you're avoiding seeing does little to do miracles. And Leona Kingscholar couldn't stand to hear Airin crying and yearning for so long: "Dove, you moved away of your own free will, why are you crying like she dumped you?" he says... IT'S TRUE, BUT AIRIN IS DRAMATIC! LET HIM BE!
The important thing is that, after some time, Airin had the courage and spoke to Rin again, who was, in fact, a little anxious about the situation. They start dating officially at the beginning of book 6(after a lot of procrastination, since they both have problems communicating. Well, it worked out!), and they fight a little because Rin went to STYX without telling Airin and without even thinking about taking him too... Well, that's something for later, yes?funfacts/trivia
